Large Photographic Prints from Your Digital Files

We use HP Designjet 5000 and 5500 ink jet printers, HP #81 dye, and Kodak Premium Photographic paper.

Image Resolution	We operate our Raster Image Processors at maximum resolution for all prints, irrespective of size. Unless your files contain text and/or line art, in most cases you need not expand your files to printer-ready size. Our equipment will automatically expand your files to 300 pixels per inch by pixel interpolation. As a result, both text and photos will be as crisp as your file allows.
Maximum print size	40.75" x 72" (larger on special order -- see "account info" from your on-line directory)
Minimum print size	4" x 4"
Media options	Photo Glossy, Photo Satin, or Photo Matte.
Cutting options	Cut to exact size, or add an extra 1/4" white paper around the image. (When you specify image size, this does not include the optional border. There is no charge for the additional border -- you pay only for the size of your image.)

The lifetime of these prints, in indoor lighting, is generally about 10-25 years. They will last longer if mounted under glass. This compares with 5 years for stabilized silver halide prints (most rapid turnaround photofinishers), and 20 years for washed silver halide prints (commercial photofinishers). These prints can be damaged by water, and should be protected from water.

We offer shipment by USPS Priority Mail or by FedEx. We ship most orders in 3" diameter round tubes.

Orders received by noon, Central Time, on a business day (Monday-Friday except holidays), are almost always shipped the same day..
